Center for Sportfishing Policy Elects New Board Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 6, 2017 – The Center for Sportfishing Policy (CSP) recently elected David Pfeiffer, president of Shimano North America Fishing, Inc., and Nehl Horton, president of the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), to serve on its board of directors. 

“CSP is thrilled to welcome Dave and Nehl to the board of directors,” said Jeff Angers, president of the Center for Sportfishing Policy. “We look forward to working with them to advance the priorities of saltwater anglers and the recreational fishing and boating industry.” 

 

Pfeiffer, an industry leader and avid angler, serves as president and CEO of Shimano North America Fishing, Inc. He has served as chairman of the American Sportfishing Association. He is a founding board member and vice chairman of the Coastal Conservation Association of California. He is a founding board member of the Jose Wejebe Spanish Fly Memorial Foundation.

 

Horton, a veteran business leader and passionate angler, brings an array of experiences to his new role as president of IGFA. In his 30+ year career, he has been involved in the private sector, both nationally and internationally, government, public affairs, politics and the news media.
