Center for Sportfishing Policy Political Action Committee (“Center PAC”) is a federal PAC, which supports federal candidates for office who support the Center’s goals. Only members of the Center (and their spouses) are invited to donate to Center PAC. Center PAC is strictly non-partisan and works to support members of Congress and Congressional candidates who share our concern for America’s marine resources.
Under law, individuals can contribute up to $5,000 per year to Center PAC (the Center for Sportfishing Policy Political Action Committee). A multi-candidate PAC can contribute up to $5,000 per candidate per election. Annual contributions to Center PAC exceeding $200 will be disclosed to the Federal Election Commission as required by law. Under applicable law, the amounts that may be contributed to and by a PAC are limited, and steps must be taken to ensure that contributions to the PAC are strictly voluntary. Donations to Center PAC are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to Center PAC from corporations and foreign nationals are prohibited.
